In 1990, at the request of BC Parks, it formed B.C. Marine Parks Forever Society to assist in funding land purchases to be added to the Marine Park System.

It meets four times per year,  two meetings as in-person and Zoom meetings, two meetings as Zoom meetings. The in-person meetings are alternating between the mainland and Vancouver Island.
